Opening of Rabbit Road
Your are invited to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the Rabbit Road Extension to Richards Avenue. The ribbon cutting will be at the eastern edge of the Oshara Village Property at the Federal Highway Right-of-Way.
This new road is part of the Santa Fe County's Community College District Road Plan and has been approved since 2000. The opening of this road is a project of Oshara Village, Santa Fe County, and New Mexico Dept. of Transportation, The Federal Highway Administration.
7-9 AM --- Monte del Sol "Run to the Sun" event, a 5-k fun run to open the new Rabbit Road to the public
9:30 AM --- Awards Ceremony on the Plaza, Monte del Sol Run.
10 AM --- Ribbon Cutting on the eastern point of Oshara Village at the Federal Highway Right-of-way on the Rabbit Road Extension
10:30 AM --- Bike Ride to Oshara Plaza after the Ribbon Cutting. Reception serving Coffee and Pastries.
11:00 AM --- Habitat for Humanity "Women Built" House Ground Breaking
