Oshara Village Update
Oshara Village Plaza is filled with trees and sculptures. Please come visit our Plaza.
May 10 was an auspicious occasion as Oshara Village cut the ribbon on the new Rabbit Road Extension and celebrated the completion of landscaping, roads and sidewalks in the plaza district of Oshara Village. The medians on New Village Avenue and Oshara Boulevard are planted and landscaped and the entry at Willow Back Road and Richards Ave. has been completed with entry monument, stone sign, landscaping and a grove of trees. The roundabout at this location has been working well as drivers learn that you yield only as you enter and that vehiciles in the roundabout have the right of way. The new Rabbit Road Extension has cut 10 minutes off some commutes to St Francis Dr.
The first community picnic and pick up Frisbee game took place a few Saturdays ago on the Oshara Plaza and a full schedule of events are planned for this summer. Over 12 families are living in Oshara with 26 more homes complete or under construction to be occupied this summer.
We are pleased to offer a selection of homes in the new Oshara Village. A large number of homes have either broken ground or are in the final building permits process. Our first commercial building is set to begin construction this summer. It will be facing Richards Avenue.
The first homes to be built in Oshara will include private townhouses, live/work units with storefronts on Oshara Boulevard, patio homes with interior courtyards, and larger single-family homes.
